Birthdays, Vacations, I can’t believe it’s June!

Welcome to my weekend coffee share. Can I get you a cup of coffee or tea as we sit and chat? I have been one busy Mom, Grandma and cowgirl. I have been a bit under the weather as I returned from my visit to my family in Arizona at the end of May and have a head cold. My grandson was sick the week before and they thought was better but still had a bit of a cough. I wasn’t worried and would have still gone and visited even though I ended up sick too, I am getting better each day. I didn’t share last week because I haven’t been feeling great. Onward, as I have so much to share I hardly know where to begin!

How about birthday celebrations! My daughter-in-law and my son both have birthdays in May. We headed there for my sons birthday May 30th and had a ton of fun. My grandkids are growing up as my granddaughter will be turning 7 years old this August, she’s getting so BIG!! My grandson is just over 2 years old and is so smart and into everything. He is quite the handful but is as cute as can be and I cherish every minute I spend with these cutie patuties!

My daughter and other son joined me as we visited with the son that lives in Arizona. It was wonderful having all 3 of my grown kids together. My son in Arizona is the only one who has children and they may end up being my only grandchildren at least in the foreseeable future. That’s A-okay with me as I feel fortunate and very grateful for my beautiful family and grandkids!

My daughter with my grandson, isn’t he adorable? I couldn’t decide which photo to share of my daughter with Teddy so I just shared them both! And the center photo of my granddaughter who has the cutest smile. I think she has had so many photo’s taken of her that she often makes silly faces. I will share a silly selfie as she loves to make funny faces. What characters and what FUN!

This may end up being the last birthday celebration at my son’s house in Arizona as he has been applying to jobs in other states. We do not know what the future holds but I know he will do excellent as he grows with his career in Medical physics or Bioinformatics which is a growing field with technology and the medical field. He is currently working on his Master’s attending online at Stanford for Bioinformatics study. I am so proud of all he has accomplished as with all my children, I’m a proud mama!

How are you doing, can I get you a refill? I have gotten a fresh cup of iced coffee as it’s been pretty hot this last week and into this weekend. It hits the spot, I did not grow up drinking iced coffee as we just didn’t have such a thing. Now I LOVE iced coffee, haha, how things have changed! Now let’s see, where was I? In Arizona it was only really hot on the first day but Memorial day weekend had nice weather. We visited a mall and ate lunch at the Tikki Shack which was delicious. I took a few photos as we ate and walked around the outdoor mall. We spent most of our time at Barnes and Noble bookstore. 😀

Great memories and fun times with family. I could not ask for a better vacation and I am so appreciative of my children and all that they do for each other and for the family as a whole. I love them so much! ❤

Can you believe it is June? This year just seems to be flying by and I have been thinking a lot about my blogging and more like the lack of it as I have been rather absent lately. I am a creature of habit, and so with that I have my habits of the things I enjoy doing each day (and I have to squeeze in the things I don’t enjoy as much too, which is usually housework. Haha!) I do enjoy sharing and blogging but I feel like I have kind of lost my groove. I lost that “habit” of sitting down and writing! I use to think of things through my week that would stand out to me and I would say to myself, that would be fun to blog about. I think as I stepped back I lost that lust of thinking about what will I blog about today or this weekend, does that make sense?

I will say since I am writing about this that last year was a really tough year for me even though I had some real ups (the purchase/adoption of my beautiful Murphy) and some real downs (the loss of my sweet horse Zack and I did not write a blog about him but we put down our dog Drew as well). I also had some friendship problems that really hurt my feelings but the wounds have healed and I am much better now. I did not want to blog about these feelings, just too personal and I just needed to work through the emotions. I sometimes have worried that all I write about is happy cheerful stuff, like my life is so rosy and perfect when clearly it isn’t nor can it be….. BUT if you are an avid follower you know I like to stay as positive as I can and share smiles and laughter which in turn makes me happy. Sorry, I didn’t know I was going to write about all this but it has been weighing heavy on my mind! I feel much freer now! YAY!

This post makes me smile! I will end with Murphy and I am hoping to write another post tomorrow and it will be all about my horses. Next weekend I am going to attend a horse clinic at Monty Robert’s Flag Is Up Farm which is near Solvang, CA. It will be 3 days of clinic training with clinicians attending with Monty which includes the trainer I got Murphy from and I can’t wait to meet her in person! I am also really excited because I will be staying with my daughter as she lives nearby. I can’t wait to learn new and exciting horse training and so I won’t be sharing a post next weekend. I will share when I return.

I thank you all for reading and sharing coffee with me this weekend. I also want to thank you all for your support of my blogging whether I blog a little or a lot, you all are awesome! I want to thank Natalie for hosting the #weekendcoffeeshare, I so enjoy linking up and I will try and visit other coffee shares this weekend. Take care ya’ll!

Crazy Grandma horse lover forever,

~Diana ❤

P.S. I have been told from fellow bloggers that I can save on space on WP if I share videos from YouTube but I don’t have a YouTube channel, another password another site another something to manage. So I am slowly running out of space here on my blog for my photos and videos which in turn makes me stress about blogging and sharing as eventually I will run out of space! Haha, it’s always something!! I guess it’s time to get a YouTube channel, sigh….

Weekend Coffee Share; Weekly Smile Fun in April!

Welcome to my weekend coffee share where we share what’s been happening in our lives with old friends and new! What can I get for you today? I have both coffee and an assortment of teas. I have recently discovered how much I like Earl Grey tea and have been drinking it more often. This last week was a busy week as we celebrated birthdays. It was my hubby’s birthday and my sweet daughter’s. My daughter’s birthday is one day after my hubby’s. She came home for her birthday and spent time with one of her best friend’s here who’s birthday is one week earlier so it’s a busy birthday month! I am going to also call this my weekly smile post. I’ve always written these posts separately but this week was super busy so I’ll use this post for both. 😀

My daughter bought tickets to an outdoor symphony at the beach. It was super fun and an adventure to drive an hour to the beach to attend this small intimate style concert literally at the beach. It was held at Bolsa Chica State Beach which is in Huntington Beach, Ca. We arrived early enough to order food that was there for us so it was dinner and a concert that was approximately an hour long. The symphony was performed by Orchid Quartet and these women are part of the LA Philharmonic Orchestra and the music was excellent. The last performance included a keyboard player who travels and performs with the quartet. The only thing about this evening at the beach was that it was a bit chilly. It was barely 60F (15C) with the wind it felt colder. We dressed warmly and brought blankets which helped. It was super cloudy, looked like storm clouds but it did not rain. I captured some fun photos I will share. They make me SMILE!

I loved being at the beach and should visit more often and I am smiling as the drive to and from the concert was traffic free! We have so much traffic here in California and we just happened to be driving the other direction during rush hour and left early because we thought it would take us longer. So thankful it was such a nice easy, fun adventure! I have some video’s I want to share. This music is close to my heart as I just LOVE classical music and some of the pieces I can play on the piano. It was beautiful to hear this string quartet play, so enjoyable. They played Beethoven, Rachmaninoff and Tchaikovsky to name a few composers. I hope you enjoy!

The second video is Rhapsody in Blue by George Gershwin and there is the piano player on the keyboard behind the speaker on the left side of the stage. We were sitting at a picnic table in the back. The picnic tables were cheaper and we were a group of four. They had fire pits which cost more and seated more people. My daughter said it was just about sold out online but there were many empty seats so I am thinking the weather may have kept people from attending. Here are more photos of our fun adventure! 😀

Such a fun week and I love the setting sun, how can you not smile watching the sun shining through the clouds! I’m so thankful for all our family and friends!

Thank you for visiting my coffee share and I hope I brought you a smile or two as well. I am smiling and am so happy I could spend these days with my family. Since we were down in Huntington Beach we stopped by a dear friend who is my hubby’s best friend. My daughter hasn’t seen him in quite awhile and we were only 15 minutes from his place so it was fun to visit with him. My daughter had to get back home but am so thankful for the time we get to spend together. It will be my turn to drive and visit her soon as I haven’t seen in person her kitty that I am so excited to meet.

I have to thank Trent for hosting the Weekly Smile and Natalie who hosts the Weekend Coffee share! I so enjoy sharing and thank you so much for visiting. I hope you have a fabulous weekend and wonderful week ahead.

Beachcomber Mom,

~Diana ❤

Weekend Coffee Share; Better Late Than Never!

Can I get you a cup of coffee or tea? I am trying to catch up and didn’t want this last day to share in this group to slip by without sharing the most wonderful week. To be honest, this whole month of October has been really good to me. Last week was incredibly busy with family in town as we celebrated my 60th birthday! I still have some cake, would you like a piece? It was delicious. I will share some birthday photos as I have a lot to share. It was a beautifully fun, very horsey celebration. I felt like a kid again! A great way to feel when you are turning 60! 😀 😀 😀

The necklace I am wearing in the photo is a gift from my son and wife and it is stirrups, which are on an English saddle. I love it! They also gave me a beautiful scarf with horses on it and my hubby got me wireless earbuds. My daughter gave me a cookbook from a favorite cook and the picture of her and my granddaughter which is behind the cake in the first photo! (You scrolled up and looked! I did! Haha) My sister who lives out of state, her gift was all our food that we ordered from a wonderful BBQ restaurant. Oh my, I hope I am not forgetting anything as it was a wonderful day, with beautiful weather, food and fun times! Here is the horses with Alice!

Zack (my other horse) is around too, but I didn’t catch him in any of these photos. We didn’t have a lot of time to ride and so we walked around a bit and gave Chloe pats and hugs. Alice helped me put together their grain buckets and then put them away as we needed to head back to the party. I am glad we had this time together. I also am glad the weather was nice, not too hot or cold. Just perfect! I want to share the next day after my birthday. My daughter, son, hubby and I went to Long Beach for lunch and then went to the Aquarium of the Pacific. Only the outdoor exhibits were open and we had to buy tickets at a reserved time which is how they control the crowds. So there were not too many there at one time for safety.

It truly was the most wonderful week. I forgot to mention I got to babysit baby Teddy Monday before the birthday party. It was so wonderful to have him for the day as my son and wife with her side of the family went to the San Diego Zoo with Alice. I just have to share a couple more photos, I can’t help myself!

They are just so adorable. But before I close I had told you that I had a surprise and I didn’t realize when I mentioned this surprise what it all entailed. Because of this I thought it best to wait to share until I had 100% confirmation and now that it is all confirmed and all the important people know I can share my surprise! It is a surprise because I have made a decision to look for another job. It’s a surprise because I can’t believe it, but YES! I have acquired a new job and it is a day shift position. I can write a novel about my job history (I will share that in a separate post soon!) as I think it may be interesting and something that would be fun to have written down. I have been working night shift (grave yard shift) for 30+ years with only a couple of breaks in between. How have I done this for so long you ask? Perseverance!

I am not sure why I thought nights are the best hours and to be honest I have been a supervisor at this laboratory working nights for over 15 years. The money is good and I just always thought this was the best for us, the family. But as I am getting older, and a bit burnt out, the stress of supervising and working night shift led me to the decision that I should look for a day shift position. I am beyond EXCITED!! I shouldn’t be surprised I got the job because it is a laboratory job in Chemistry, my cup of tea and I will be taking care of instruments and working swing shift so I can take care of my horses in the mornings. No more night shift, and another plus, no more weekend work! I won’t have any excuse to missing another Weekend Coffee share again!! I just have 2 weeks to go and I will be like other humans, and living a more normal life! YAY!

I had a lot to share today. I may be writing about the difference between night shift hours and living and working day shift and sleeping at night! Haha, I still can’t believe it! I owe a lot of this wonderful decision to my daughter. Everything just fell into place and that’s my surprise!! 😀

Thank you for sharing coffee or tea with me today. My life is full of changes. I know changes can be hard but I think changes are good. I was getting so burnt out at my job. I was also feeling like I was not taking care of myself by working these crazy hours. I started to think why don’t I take care of myself? I worry so much about others, I forget about myself. I think we should all take some time and look at our situations and see if there isn’t some way to make things better. After all, we are worth it! ❤ ❤ ❤

Excited, Loving 60 Grandma!

Weekend Coffee Share; Babies 2020!

Weekend Coffee share is a time for us to take a break out of our busy lives and enjoy some time catching up with friends (old and new). Please grab a cup of coffee or tea and share with us! What’s been going on in your life? It’s been a busy week!

Welcome to my coffee share and I have an announcement to make, I am a Grandma again! YES, my grandson came early this last week and what a crazy week. I also am noticing that I am writing this on 2/29/2020 leap year! 2020 is truly an exciting year as in my family there are many babies due this year. My Niece had her fourth son two days before my grandson was born and this grand nephew? I think he would be to me? was born on my oldest sister’s birthday 2/25! EXCITING! Everett is the son of my niece and two days later on 2/27 my grandson Teddy was born. I AM SO EXCITED! I may explode!! HAHA! I JUST LOVE BABIES! ❤ ❤ ❤

We had made plans for my youngest son who is in-between jobs to fly out this last Thursday evening to be in Arizona to help with my granddaughter while they are in the hospital delivering baby Teddy. My oldest son had planned this time with the help of doctor visits, Teddy wasn’t due until 3/9 so they thought this last week would be a good week to get brother out there to help. Around 7am mom’s water broke! OH NO! she is going into labor and my son isn’t going to arrive until that evening to take care of Alice.

So it was decided that he drive out (5 hour drive) as his ticket was basic economy, the cheapest and there was no standby option. He would have to buy a whole new ticket which was pricey. He made it in time to pick up Alice at the hospital and take her home. Teddy arrived 5 hours later. What a crazy week!!!

Welcome Theodore “Teddy” David to this world! 7lb 1oz birthday 2/27 ❤
Love these two SO MUCH! Photo taken before Teddy arrived in the hosptial!

So EXCITING! Such a great time for these young’ins. I remember those days, being pregnant and giving birth to some wonderful children and now it is their turn. I labeled this post as babies 2020 and one of my sisters has 5 grown children and they are all married with kids, but 4 are not done growing their family’s. The oldest has 3 girls and won’t have any more. How is your coffee? or maybe you are sipping some tea? I am trying to take in this last week, it’s like pinch me, grandma again!

I thought I would run down the list real quick. I already mentioned one niece had her 4th son on 2/25. My nephew’s wife is due 3/21 with a girl, and the next nephew’s wife is due 5/25 with a boy. Then there is one more niece due sometime in September and we do not know yet the sex so I have some time for home made gifts. My best friend has made baby crochet/knit items to help share with all these babies and I will make another baby blanket and baby hats to go with more baby booties. OH MY, so many babies this year! My oldest sister has a spreadsheet she keeps updating and sends to us and this family is blooming!! She will be busy updating it this year! 😀

Completed baby blanket for baby Teddy! I will make another with a different blue for niece or nephew. Maybe I will make two, it would look cute with purple yarn too!
Kitty thinks it is a nice blanket too! KITTY -follows me all around!
Here is booties and baby hats for a girl or boy. My best friend knitted the booties from my Mom’s pattern. My sister knows how to knit these booties too. I don’t knit, only crochet. Need to mail these out soon!

Thanks for visiting my coffee share as I am just so incredibly proud and very happy my family is growing and that everyone is happy and healthy. My youngest son will stay and help out for a few weeks and then come home. I’m so curious how my granddaughter is going to feel with a new baby in the house. She was the only one for the last 4 1/2 years, now baby brother will take time away from her! I know this will be very good for her in many ways. I am so excited for my son and his family. We are still working on moving to Arizona but the planning and figuring everything out is very daunting, never giving up on our dreams. Just need to take things one day at a time and keep plowing away on our goals. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. 😀

Excited, grateful, proud Grandma!

My Weekly Smile; Feb. 5, 2020

What makes you smile? I so enjoy sharing and I have to thank Trent who hosts the Weekly Smile so we have a place to meet and share!

Proud mama weekend! I had the best weekend this last weekend being able to see my daughter be promoted to Major in the Air Force. How she has excelled and her dedication to serving this great country is humbling and I admire her determination and fortitude. I know I shared last week but the cup runneth over with gratefulness as I sit here thinking about this last week. As I share we have a lot happening as we have a planned vacation with her to Hawaii next week! (So EXCITED!) Lots to smile about! I’m smiling from ear to ear! 😀

Major Greener with her father. Smiling big, so very proud!

We had a nice time up in Orcutt, CA which is next to Vandenberg AFB. We explored a bit and I took a selfie of my family, minus my daughter who had unfortunately got a 24hr flu bug before she was promoted. She was home resting and of course made it to the ceremony but it was a bit stressful for her but it all worked out and she is thankfully feeling much better. We had great weather while there and thought I would share that photo too!

Me, hubby and brother!

As we headed into this week we had really strong winds. These winds can be so bad, up to 25 mile gusts and it just makes being outside miserable. They were cold winds as well, and so I really missed riding this week. It is calm outside today so I think I will be able to ride. I took the next photo of my trail ride on Sunday afternoon as it was not windy and we made it back in time for me to see my ponies. My obsession with them will never cease! They are my therapy, my muse and what helps keep me smiling! 😀

Beautiful day with my horses. Zack is here too walking by my side! I’m smiling!

Thank you for visiting my smile for this week. Can you believe its February? I probably will say this every month as these months just tick by. Haha, time just flies but I have to say that this blog has helped me slow down and enjoy each week. It makes me think back and be more observant which makes me appreciate each day. What makes you smile? Anything happening in your neck of the woods?

Thankful Proud Mom,

~Diana ❤

Giving Thanks!

I really wanted to give thanks to this last week and our Thanksgiving holiday. I realize that I have been able to have things in my life that others can only dream about and maybe its been lucky of me to be able to have a good job and then live in a location that can afford me the luxury and/or my passions and I am truly thankful for all that I have worked for. I just have to give thanks to this wonderful Thanksgiving this year. I wanted to share this last weeks events, with Thanksgiving dinner and a baby shower for my new grandson coming next year!

Thanskgiving dinner with family!

We decided to serve Thanksgiving dinner buffet style which I have never done before. Usually we fit all the food on a platter or in big bowls all over the table then pass everything around. This year it was suggested to line it up on the counter than walk the buffet line. I thought why not? funny how you can get stuck one way as I had to tell my hubby the line starts over there! Haha, and then I didn’t get the photo of the set table with all the food but this works and was happy all enjoyed the food. It was all delicious!

Day after Thanksgiving. It rained all day on Thanksgiving and this is the lake in one corner of the arena! My horses drank the rain water and thankfully didn’t roll in the water but enjoyed it immensely!
My sister and best friend heading out for our trail ride on Saturday!

I posted a Smile post all about our trail rides this last weekend but I didn’t share all my photos there and am recapping a little here, you can find my smile post here. As I write this today it is raining and will rain all day today. We will end up with another lake in the corner of the arena but the folks that work at the barn have dug a trench out of one side to encourage it to drain out so it won’t get so big. This will help but there will still be standing water which my horses just LOVE! Gracie, the chestnut will not go into the lake or water avoiding it but both my horses just walk right in and paw, splashing water and drinking the rain water. Silly ponies, we had trouble getting them out to be honest. I had to go get some cookies to encourage them but they finally came out for our ride!

Baby Shower Day! My daughter with my granddaughter!! They are doing snapchat, my granddaughter’s face is adorable!
Snapchat photo with sunglasses! Haha, I just had to share!
My son Harrison, Amber and Alice! Gift giving time. I LOVE them to the moon and back again!

After our trail ride on Saturday, my daughter, sister and best friend all headed to the baby shower for my son and daughter-in-law’s new baby coming next March. I AM IN FAMILY FUN HEAVEN! They drove from Arizona for the weekend for the shower and stayed at my daughter-in-law’s Aunt’s house. It was so much fun and we had so much fun together.

The drive to and from the baby shower was full of wonderful chats. My girlfriend Sally had us in stitches with a Thanksgiving story about finding a cell phone on the trail the year before! Oh my, I could never recreate and share like she did, I was practically crying in the car it was too funny but she was able to return the phone to it’s rightful owner! Then she was telling us a bunch of silly jokes, so funny! She uses these jokes to lighten the mood as she is a nurse in a chemo treatment center for Kaiser. She says any kind of smiles she can get out of her patients go a long way when they are doing chemo treatment. She is my kind of gal, as a smile may not cure cancer but can sure help heal the soul! ❤

I don’t really do selfies much and don’t share often but I had such a wonderful weekend. What a GREAT TIME!

I am thankful for my whole entire family. We are spread out all across the United States. Many relatives back East and my immediate family all across the Western United States. I am also truly thankful and humbled for all my dear friends, near and far! I am truly blessed. I’ll end with this joke from my best friend.

What’s the difference between a Snowman and a Snow woman?

Snow Balls! Haha –

Love, Diana

My Weekly Smile; Aug 27, 2019

My weekly smile goes to my husband, Dave. He has been working so hard this last week (actually the last few weeks) going through his Mom’s apartment to get ready for her move to our house. You see, his Mom is 89 and will be turning 90 this coming October. She has dementia and unfortunately is in decline as she approaches 90. She can’t care for herself like her feisty self once could as she is as independent a woman that I have ever known. As the months have gone by, she has needed every day care and after researching assisted living (VERY expensive) we made the decision to have her move into our home. Bless his heart, he has made our guest room into her room hanging family photos and putting familiar items in the room to make her feel at home. ❤

Martha’s (Mom) new room, our guest room.
He will hang more photos, but these photos were all at her apartment. Her family photos!

We want her to feel welcome and at home. She has not lived with anyone in probably 52 years as my hubby moved out when he was 18 and joined the Air Force. She was already living by herself at that point and to my knowledge she has not lived with anyone since that time. That is A LOT OF YEARS by yourself! I can’t imagine as I have NEVER lived alone and I am 58 years old. So this will definitely be an adventure of sorts figuring out all of us under one roof. She has pretty bad short term memory loss, so this will be interesting having her here 24/7. I know I am going on so, but that’s just because it is one thing to have a relative move in which I have no problem with, it’s more her care and what all will be involved with her. She has a doctor’s appointment first week of September, so we will be getting any extra care we need if we need to hire help to come to the house. We will see how this all goes…. CRAZY days! I feel like saying, what next??

This will now be our guest room, which is a nice area in our sun room. Bed is ready for guests!

Thank you hubby for making a new guest room in our back sun room. It is totally enclosed of course, and even has doors to close it all off for guests. My daughter often comes to stay with us so we wanted to make sure she has a nice place to sleep. Anyone else who wants to visit is more than welcome, we always make it work and I am hoping make everyone feel at home. I know my hubby makes every effort to make one happy, he just makes me SMILE! 😀

My Kiity LOVES sleeping in the sun room, because it is sunny back there!

I turned around after I took the photo of the bed and found my kitty sleeping. She woke up enough for this photo, meowed at me, I wonder what she said? she is getting old, my cute little kitty. But she always makes me smile. A double smile for today, haha, for my kitty and my hubby! What makes you smile? I really wanted to share a smile this week and this is close to my heart and my husband has been working so hard with this move. I LOVE him so much and he brings a huge giant smile to my face.

Smiling at family changes! 😀

35 Years And Counting!

So this happened 35 years ago today, on this date August 19, on a Sunday afternoon!

I know it is not the best photo and as much as I love photography, I never got my wedding photos enlarged and framed. I am so bad, and I am very unconventional. I did not do what I should have done and printed up photos of our wedding. I have a wedding photo-album packed away somewhere, its too long ago to worry about it now. I can’t believe it has been 35 years! I say this all the time, how does time fly by so fast? I do not know all the ages of my readers and I think some are young and for those of you who are really young (for me really young is in your 20’s, and you think you have a million years ahead of you!) BEWARE; in the blink of an eye – you wonder what happened to the last 35 years. BUT they have been absolutely WONDERFUL YEARS! The good, the bad and the ugly, we have seen it all. I wonder what is next? What adventures will we be experiencing? it is fun to wonder! 😀

I walked into my kitchen to a surprise when I got home from work, I wonder what it is?
WOW! Jade Anniversary plate and Jade whale tail earrings and a beautiful, wonderful loving card from my hubby. He is such a sweetheart! ❤ ❤ ❤
We don’t share photos of ourselves very often. I asked him if I can share. I figure this kind of thing doesn’t happen every day, wow, 35 years!

We had a wonderful breakfast this morning and I took the opportunity to take a few photos to share on this special day. I wanted to say that the last 35 years have been amazing. We brought into this world 3 beautiful children who are all grown up and on their own. I talk a lot about my family so I won’t go into detail here, but they bring us much joy. We are having a blast being grandparents, oh my, I did not know how much joy this would bring to our lives. And we have had ups and downs, as any couple does, it hasn’t always been easy but we have made it through it all together. Here are a few more photos. They were fun to take, even though selfies are my nemesis. 😀 😀 😀

Selfies are not easy, and he wanted the hats to show up better. We are hat people!!
Haha, Now you can see his hat and mine too! He didn’t want me to use this photo but I really like it!
Haha, hiding my little double chin. It sucks getting old, things can start to sag!

My husband has a very small digital footprint and so I told him I was going to blog today about our Anniversary. He was totally fine with this and with sharing our selfies. Isn’t he adorable? Okay, he’s a little scruffy looking but I am okay with the facial hair. He comes and goes with it, but the last time he was with a mustache only earlier this year, he told me he just got so sick and tired of shaving that he was going to grow out his beard again. Whatever you like dear! I Love him so….

My Anniversary card to my hubby, and YES! isn’t it just the best with the horses on it! He is the Love of my life. The most understanding hubby a horse crazy girl could ask for, I am truly blessed.

I can remember when I was 18 years old thinking how old 30 was. Oh dear, I am double that and will be 60 next year in 2020. I do not feel that old, I think its the new 60! I do get sore feet from work, and my joints in my hands ache a bit more than they use too. My goodness, it can’t be because I am getting old. Haha, they say you are as old as you feel, only sometimes I think, darn it all… I guess I am getting old.

I wanted to get my hubby something for our Anniversary something I am really, really terrible at because I never know what to buy for him and he texted me this ~ “Ha… don’t need to get me anything. I have you and that’s perfect!!” ~ I end with this as isn’t this the most sweetest thing anyone could ever say to someone, he melts my heart. I love him to the moon and back again.

Happy Anniversary Hubby!

~With Love, Diana ❤
