My Weekly Smile; July 9, 2020

I usually write my smile post either on Tuesday or Wednesday but this week has gotten away from me, and here it is Thursday. My smile post this week goes to my big sister. We had the best sister chat this week and I wanted to dedicate this weeks smile to her as she made me smile and it was so GREAT catching up! I don’t want to offend any of my sister’s and some of my sisters read my blog posts – so sending LOVE to all and if I haven’t chatted with you, maybe we can catch up with each other this weekend! It’s never too late and always WELCOME! ❤ ❤ ❤

We live in different states. I am one of 6 children and we occupy 5 states in the Western United States. We all moved away for one reason or another from Southern California where we grew up. I am the only one left here and miss my family so much. I actually had wanted to travel this year and was hoping to visit each sister and brother and along the way make it a celebration as this year I turn 60. BUT those plans got canceled and we all know the reason why. So I plan on phone chats more often and catching up with them all before to much more time passes. 😀

I just wanted to share how family can be so supportive and how much I miss everyone. Talking with my sister really put a huge smile on my face, and is I believe the best therapy especially when Mom and Dad are in heaven. My sister’s and brother are all a blessing, and I should reach out and connect more often. I am so thankful for the ones who keep in touch with me with my blogging as we actually exchange messages each week. I think this blog post will surprise them. SO I AM GOING TO TELL THEM, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!! HUGS! ❤

Happy Smiling Sister! 😀

Love, Diana

My Weekly Smile; June 30, 2020

I can’t believe three weeks have passed and in my head it seems like maybe just a week maybe two at the most have gone by as I’ve been meaning to get my smile post written. I did take a bit of a blogging break, just needed to clear my head and before my eyes the weeks slip by. I mentioned I injured my knee in another post and I now know that it is most likely from riding my horses. I am having to take a break from riding the next few weeks as it heals, so I am working a lot on my crochet project. I am smiling as I see some good improvement on my knee. I think its just a ligament sprain.

I am also wanting to thank you all so very much for liking and following my blog! I received this the other day, I thought a rather random number but since I don’t look or track these things on my blog it was a nice surprise! 😀

This is the first time I have received this congratulations and again, it is ALL OF YOU that made this possible. I just think it’s a funny number! Why not wait until I hit 1,500 Likes? or give me a congrats at 1,000 Likes? BUT This put a HUGE SMILE on my face. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Ya’ll made my day! 😀 😀 😀

I am more than half way through this baby quilt. I thought I would share as it makes me smile. I think it looks pretty in pink for a sweet baby girl due in September. It is so fun to create these projects and I can do them pretty fast.

These are very small tea roses. I have two tea rose bushes and this one finally bloomed like crazy this year. Its a much more vibrant pink than the other tea rose which is a lighter gentler pink. I do not have any more blooms, kind of missing my roses. I am waiting for my tomatoes to ripen. I will go check on them after I finish this post. I think they are just starting to turn red. I read that I can pick them before they are totally red and they will finish ripening on my counter. I don’t want a bunch of bugs to get them before I can pick them. I just have one tomato plant and I think I can manage eating all the tomatoes it provides! I am smiling all the way to my bounty of salads I will be eating in the near future! Haha, does that even make sense? 😀 What makes you smile? Thank you so much for visiting my smile post this week!

Feeling good about sharing and smiling!

My Weekly Smile; June 9, 2020

Welcome to my weekly smile! What made you smile this week?
Courage is not having the strength to go on; It's going on when you don't have the strength. Theodore Roosevelt

I thought an inspirational quote would be a nice way to start out my smile for this week. This is particularly appropriate for me as I am working an extremely long work week as I am covering for a vacation in my department. And it is extra busy at work, so much so that I am having to dig deep to muster through it all, but I will succeed with a smile. Why? because that’s the way I roll. I want to complain, and it slips out here and there and there isn’t much any of us can do about the crazy busy work load. I guess everyone is needing to take their pets to the vet! Who knew it would go from really slow to exceptionally busy?

I am going to make some chocolate chip cookies to bring to my employees tonight, they will be surprised and I know that will put a huge smile on my face! 😀 I have been trying to find a day that I am not too tired to bake and today I have the time to not only write my smile post, but to bake up some cookies! YUM! Now that’s something to smile about right there! 😀

I have been able to get to the stables almost every day. Today my girlfriend took care of the horses so I am able to be home to bake and write! I have been thinking a lot about our plans to move to Arizona, and the 37 acre idea has been scrubbed. We will figure it all out, but I sure miss my grand babies. I think of them often. I try and stay in touch as much as I can and I have a new photo to share. My garden is coming along, lots of tomatoes and it seems it may be a bit too hot for bell peppers. I have a grouping of roses I will share. I let these bloom but pruned the rest of the plant.

The last of my blooms for awhile! So pretty and they smell divine!

I know I am rambling. I am feeling a bit tired with the very long work week. I was too busy to write over the weekend and/or any other day. I really enjoy the SMILE POSTS! So I am happy I can get this put together to share. I’ll end with baby Teddy! He is now three and half months old, missing him and his sister so much. I know I’m one of millions of grandma’s missing their grand children. I’m so thankful of instant photos and video chats! 😀

Now there is a SMILE!! ❤ ❤ ❤

Thanks for visiting my smile this week. I hope you all have a wonderful week and if you want to share what makes your smile, that would be great!

A little tired, keep on smiling grandma,

~Diana ❤

My Weekly Smile; June 2, 2020

Still blooming!

Welcome to my weekly smile. I almost was not going to write because of what is going on in this country its incredibly…… I can’t seem to find the words to describe. Brings tears to my eyes for many reasons. I can’t talk about it let alone write about it and thought let me try and write what makes me smile.

I hope that’s okay? Isn’t it crazy I am actually worried about writing a smile post as if it isn’t okay. I guess if I had to explain my feelings, I would explain it like this – I am so overwhelmed that all I can do is live my life and try and keep things moving forward. I know I do not need permission to smile, but I do not want what I write to be taken like I don’t care, as I care so deeply about our country and all the people living here. I care about humanity, and pray for peace around the world. ❤

Hmm…. I think of myself as a happy go lucky horse crazy young girl (I am not young any more, but will always feel young at heart!) I sometimes just want to be that naive young girl, looking forward to my horse back riding and getting ready for the next horse show. Those were the days! My smile this week is you guessed it, my pretty horses. ❤

My horses checking out the turn out pen!
They are really exploring and eating the grass and weeds growing in the arena!
Such a beautiful girl! Love these horses so much, they sure make me smile! 😀

I really wanted to share this week. What makes you smile? I hope and pray for peaceful protests. I understand the unrest. I do not want to make light of any of it and hope we can still find smiles in this crazy world we all live in today. After I go to the stables to exercise these pretty ponies I will be working in my garden. Something that is good for my heart and soul!

Thank you for visiting my smile post this week. I hope everyone is staying safe and I hope you can find a couple things to smile at this last week and into this week. I am looking at working a lot of days this next week as I have an employee taking a week long vacation. I love my job, but that means I will be busy and so am not sure how much writing I’ll be able to fit in the next week and a half. I’m off to give these pretty ponies a hug and a kiss!

Crazy horse girl,

~Diana ❤

Reflections, Smiles and Horsey Fun!

A view across the hills where I live in California!

I decided to label this post “Reflections” as I have been thinking a lot about how this year is almost half over. Next week will be June 1st and I know I can say for everyone, what the heck happened to this year 2020? I think it is a big WOW! and it almost feels like we are all in a movie and someone will come along and say “cut, that’s a take!” I think this because I am a big movie buff, to think we are living history when they look back and pick apart all the good and the bad ideas or things that happened during this pandemic. I think we are already seeing the looking back part within these last few months as we start pulling ourselves back into reality, or hopefully back to some normalcy. As I am writing this my hubby is saying let’s eat lunch out in a restaurant! Something that we truly miss even though its been great to eat more at home, something we should keep doing going forward. We lead very busy lives, so this all has been a real eye opener to slow down and reset, at least that is how it feels and hopefully we saved many lives in the process. ❤

I don’t think “normal” will be back. I think we will have a new normal, something akin to what it was but I believe there will be many changes that will stay with us for a very long time. Some of these changes I believe will benefit things like the normal flu season that always comes and goes, as one would think this last flu season got snuffed out a bit with all the social distancing and closing down. I pray we get the schools going again , sooner than later and I know this is a HUGE subject so I am only going to touch upon it by saying let’s all get back to work (carefully) and let’s get this country up and running again. I want to be able to look for a job in Arizona so that I can move my family there one day, sooner than later if possible. (I do believe it will be at least one more year, praying for next year to make this happen!)

As I reflect, I want to thank all my new followers and all my blogging friends who follow my blog. 😀 This has been a journey of sorts for me starting with what is blogging? I thought I would just write short stories, I suppose this can happen with wonderful photo prompts that I want to engage in someday from fellow bloggers. I feel like I have a yearning to mold my blog into what it’s titled My Life – And – Horse Stories. I stray sometimes from my model, and struggle with my brand sometimes. I am learning as I go and I have met some wonderful, beautiful, kind, amazing – really super fun people. I thank you for all your comments and I have grown as a person writing and sharing my thoughts with ya’ll. You make me humble, and very appreciative. Thank you for reading all about my reflections today, it makes me smile so much so I think I will use this as my smile post this week!

Let’s switch gears to HORSES! YES! My passion, my muse they truly bring me such joy and happiness. I have recently moved them to another boarding facility in our horse town, it is across town and they have settled in nicely. It has been a month since I moved them, my how these weeks have flown by. We have been enjoying the trails, as I ride Chloe and pony Zack riding with my girlfriend on her horse Gracie. Chloe is 16 years old this year and doing GREAT! So happy with her as she has a bad back leg with an old stifle injury (this would be her knee). I can tell she has little to no pain in it any more which is wonderful. Zack is the white horse, he is 25 years old this year. He is starting to really show his age as gravity draws down on their top-line (this is where they sometimes start looking sway back) and they lose muscle tone. I am trying to keep him active and moving. Gracie turned 28 years old this year. She has been really showing her age, but is doing good.

I take so many photos of my horses. They look forward to my company as much as I look forward to theirs. They truly like getting out and about with me and since I have moved them I always take them out together. I want to start separating them a little bit more. They are herd animals and so it is very natural for them to be near each other and do things together. They do call to each other if you take one too far away, this is called herd bound and it is nice if you can take one off the property say with a friend without the other going nuts, as they wonder where their stable mate went too!! Chloe is not herd bound as much as Zack. Since they have each other and I do not go to horse shows, there isn’t a great need to break them up and make them be apart other than riding just Chloe without Zack is a bit easier… I’m getting really use to taking them together, so its all good.

I hope you all have a wonderful week. I always welcome your thoughts and I just had to share mine as I like to reflect now and again.

Reflecting Grandma Cowgirl,

~Diana ❤

My Weekly Smile; May 20, 2020

I am smiling at these beautiful flowers!

Welcome to this weeks smile post. A very nice horse woman bought me these beautiful flowers as a thank you, but there is a story behind the thank you. It was a very busy week last week and at the beginning of the week, I was at the barn and I helped save a horses life. I’m so very happy he is A-okay, but he was in a lot of pain when I arrived at the barn.

Horses can get very sick called colic. This horse was in a lot of pain, and with help from friends and the owner a vet finally arrived and thankfully he survived and is looking great today. I am smiling at a great outcome and what a sweet thing for her to buy me these flowers as a thank you. Certainly not needed but I do LOVE them. Sure made me SMILE! As last week went along, it thankfully got better but was very busy and it is busy this week too and the busy place is my work!

I am glad we are busy because it is job security. We are so busy that we don’t have enough people employed to get the work done in a timely manner. This causes many departments including mine to get done later and later causing over time which can be frustrating. I’m sure things will settle down, and/or they will hire more help. It’s ironic that a month ago when it was really slow we worried about lay-offs and now we need more help! Go figure…. I am thankful and blessed, as I smile all the way to the bank. I pray for all who are unemployed.

I also have to be thankful because I am getting really use to my hair color. I know this is random, but I use to color my hair (I did it myself, no salon because I’m too cheap) but I’m finding I like it and actually have some natural highlights! Haha, that is making me smile! Hence why I included a photo of myself. I definitely have low lights or dark under color and I am getting some gray hairs. I feel like I have earned them! 😀 😀 😀

I am smiling as I went through my things at the barn. I am taking these photos home and never showed them to a friend there. I ended up taking these photos and sent them to her, so silly. I have a photo album of all my jumping photos I need to find. I think I packed it away. I hope you enjoyed my smile for this week. Helping people and their horses and trying to stay sane with a busy amount of work – at work – and smiling with memories!! What are you smiling about this week?

Happy smiling Cowgirl,

~Diana ❤

My Weekly Smile; May 6, 2020

I am going to say that I can’t help sharing all my flowers that are still blooming! They not only smell wonderful, they are so pretty to see each day in my garden. How can you not smile? Welcome to my smile post this week!

I try and keep up reading all the wonderful smile posts, I so enjoy them and enjoy writing them. So to get back to my smile, I can’t help myself sharing my flowers and will continue as long as they keep blooming. I am also smiling because my horses are settling really well at the new ranch I moved them too. I am really thankful as Zack is getting old and was worried most about him and the change. He is doing great. ❤

I can’t believe that in less than a month half of the year has gone by. Can you believe it is May? And I would say that Spring is the best time to move horses because we don’t have to worry about winter weather and horses usually are less stressed in the Spring and Summer. It’s just the way they roll. So I am very happy as we have enjoyed some nice trail rides this last weekend! 😀 😀 😀

We rode several days in a row and I took so many photos that they seem out of order as I wrote on the first set we returned from the trails and then the next photo I am out on the trails! Haha, I am going to leave it as I know it doesn’t matter, but it is fun to share and I am super duper happy at this new ranch! YAY! 😀

They barely fit in this baby swing. Such silly kitty brothers, as my son shares photos of them they make me laugh. I hope you all are staying safe and staying strong. I really wanted to share a smile this week and if I don’t get this finished up, I won’t have time once this day is over. I have to thank you for visiting my Smile post for this week of May.

Happy Smiling Cowgirl,

~Diana ❤

My Weekly Smile; April 29, 2020

Welcome to my weekly smile!

I have a lot to smile about as this week is half over and last week I was so busy I was not able to write my weekly smile. So this weeks smile will include what I was working on last week. It has been a whirlwind of events as my girlfriend and I have moved our horses to a new stable in our horse town in Norco, CA. While we were preparing the stalls at the new stables we needed some shade cloth that we put up in front of the stalls to help shade and keep our shavings from blowing away when it gets windy. While at Lowe’s I decided to buy some plants/veggie starts to plant in my containers. I am so happy I finally was able to get my tiny garden planted, so I have two things to SMILE about this week! YAY! 😀 😀 😀

My veggies if they survive and the bunnies don’t jump in and eat them!
Pretty flowering perennial’s in another container!
My third container I put a Calla lily and Iris. I will split them up as I have a fourth container if it gets too crowded for them.
My tea rose, so beautiful!

I Love to garden partly because I am outdoors and I am a neophyte learning as I go with gardening and just try the best I can and sometimes I have a green thumb, and sometimes not so much. I try to fit so much into my busy schedule – working full-time – owning two horses and dogs, cats a house to clean – oh my, I am getting tired thinking about it all! Then I add gardening which takes care and some love or it will not do well. It so makes me smile when I go out and see the flowers bloom and/or the tomatoes grow! I will keep you posted now and again on how my tiny garden grows!

They are enjoying a turn out at the new ranch!
My girlfriends horse Gracie and behind her Miss Chloe walking around and checking things out!
Zack enjoying his new digs!

We were able to spend as many days as we needed to fix up the new stalls at the new ranch. We moved some railroad ties to the front of the stall with some shade cloth to help keep the shavings on the ground from blowing through the pipes and out into the aisle or another stall. We will still lose some shavings probably but this will help keep a lot in our stalls. We get winds here that are very strong called the Santa Ana Winds! So it was worth all the work we put in and am grateful the stalls were empty so we could work on them. We moved a week early after putting in our 30 day notice where we were, mostly because my girlfriend and I were able to take extra days off of work. (We are essential workers in the medical field).

We moved because my girlfriend really needed more shade for her horse as she has aged, she has some sun sensitivities and with my two horses I should be able to save a few dollars. I wanted to help her out and this place is a nice place and sometimes it is just nice to change it up! I Love the stables I was at, there are always pros and cons at any facility and I will not go into all of that here. I think sometimes a change is needed, enough said on that subject! We now need to give the horses time to settle in and they are doing just that! ❤

Miss Chloe is such a good girl and I am so blessed to have her, love her so much!

Thank you for visiting my smile and I hope you are all doing well. I am so enjoying my tiny garden and my horses as they get acclimated. I like how they can look out over their stalls at this new place! The old place is nice but the pens have a link fencing that they can’t look out over the doors or fencing. It’s just a nice change and they can even scratch each others back if they wanted too. I hope you all have a great rest of your week!

Happy Gardening Cowgirl!

~Diana ❤

My Weekly Smile; April 15, 2020

THE SUN! Makes me SMILE 😀

What a difference a week makes! I had to look back at last weeks smile partly because when I looked at my stats, last weeks smile was viewed and read by many, and so I thank you all for the reads. I also am grateful and thankful for all who comment. It was so wet last week, so much rain. This week is sunny and bright! The sun has finally decided to stay for awhile and I can’t tell you how happy the sun makes me feel. I think this is true for us all, we all need the sun!! I have a lot to SMILE about this week!

My smile this week also goes to my family. Sunday was a fabulous day as I was able to video chat with my family in Arizona. Oh my, it was THE BEST MEDICINE in these times. I laughed so much as my grand daughter was so entertaining! She watches her mama put on makeup and she gave her some so now she has her own. Her mama also watches makeup videos and so Alice was explaining how to put the makeup on! She did a great job considering, but had me in stitches as she applied eye makeup to only one eye, and blush to one cheek and lip gloss. I suppose you had to be there, makes me giggle just thinking about it!

I am really blurry, so much so I took myself out of one photo. I think I like seeing both of us though as you can see how much fun we have together!

She is so adorable, I can’t say enough about being able to spend time with family even remotely! Baby Teddy was very sleepy. He opened his eyes literally for a minute before dosing back into mama’s arms. I didn’t get a good photo of him this time, such a little guy but just as adorable as ever. Of course I am prejudice as ever, loving my grand babies, I’m in grandma heaven! ❤ ❤ ❤

The next day, Monday April 13th was my hubby’s birthday! We ordered an early dinner from a nice restaurant and he bought a pie too. We are continuing the celebration of birthday week as I made a chocolate cake today which I will frost after it cools. The next day April 14th was my daughter’s birthday! We video chatted and she was able to celebrate with her best friend who she also works with so they see each other every day. I am so thankful her friend was able to make her birthday a special day, and these birthday’s will be longed remembered – Birthday’s – during a pandemic.

Happy Birthday, Love You! I can’t wait until I can come and visit, hopefully soon!

I want to continue my smile post with more things I found to smile at which includes the flowers I like to share that I found on my walk this morning. The sun hitting them as it rose in the sky. I am trying to motivate myself to get to Home Depot to buy some starters for my container garden. At one point some weeks ago there was long lines to get in and I totally understand why as they were only letting in so many at a time. I will have to set aside half of my day just to buy or shop for what I’d like to plant, my how things have changed. Praying for a return to normal, for us all.

On my walk this morning! That’s the morning sun making flowers bright and beautiful!
Same flowers from above but really close up! This is my phones “live focus” feature.

I will end with the last photo my son sent to me of the brothers. For those of you who follow my blog, these kitties were split up (in my family, different houses) and then reunited. I have the sister kitties which I share often and are doing great! I hope this week finds you well. What makes you smile? There must be one thing or some things? I am staring out my front window of snow peaked mountains, as the snow has not melted away yet from last weeks storms. The world is a beautiful place, the plants blooming from spring rain, and we all need to stay strong as we can get through this and we can do it with a smile! 😀

Brothers 😀

Smiling, happy, grandma!

My Weekly Smile; April 7, 2020

RAIN, please go away and come back another day!

We need a break. Why can’t it rain a lot on one day and then we get a break for a few days? This year and last year it has rained weeks on end or a week at a time which just saturates everything to the point where flooding is inevitable. I want to smile at the rain, the only thing I like about the rain is the sound. I do love hearing it rain, and I love what happens after it rains. The air smells so fresh, and the flowers start to bloom. But it severely interrupts my daily activities, which is walking and riding and caring for my horses! Darn rain, I need to go buy shavings for my horses stall as it is getting very wet this week. 😀 (Trying to smile in the rain!)

RAIN, is very hard to photograph! Haha, it is pouring in this photo!

I’m wanting to write about smiling and all I can think about is how stressed I’ve been lately. My work has been very stressful, mostly because of all the changes taking place with the shutdowns it is causing my work to cut hours to employees. It is sad, but at least we are still working and hopefully this all won’t last too long. So last week was difficult but as I see it now, this week is much better. I feel calmer and less stressed so that is something to smile about! I have been continuing to share flowers, not daily but often. I am going to share the last 2 photos I took of some really pretty flowers at a stable I visited this last week. I hope it makes you smile! 😀

Such pretty flowers!
My favorite! Such beautiful flowers all growing together!

I feel like all I want to talk about is rain. It is to rain the rest of the week. I’m looking at 5 days of rain including today, which is almost over so that leaves me with 4 more days of rain. Haha, I have to be the crazy person writing about rain and I write about it often! Maybe my smile should be about how mother nature messes with me and I have to learn to smile! 😀 😀 😀

Mr. Zack ALWAYS makes me smile!
Hi Miss Chloe! After a nice trail ride!

As I sit here wanting to share and be uplifting I decided that I am going to share what makes me smile because I can’t help myself. YES, Zack and Chloe this last weekend looking at me in their most goofy ways and of course I just keep taking more photos. I can’t imagine how many photos I have of these two ponies. I take so many photos which is so much FUN!

I think as I am writing I am feeling better and better! YAY! I am so glad I am writing and sharing this week. Thank you for visiting my smile post and I hope you all aren’t going stir crazy. What makes you smile this week?

Stay safe and Stay Strong!

~Diana ❤

My Weekly Smile; It’s April!

Do you see what I see? 😀

I took this photo on my walk today. I so needed to get out into the fresh air and clear my head. So many thoughts in my head I actually had trouble sleeping last night, my night off from work. Yes, I still work as we are essential – a Vet Lab and trying to do our part keeping beloved pets alive and well. I don’t usually make a big deal about the “things” you can see out of clouds but when I uploaded this photo and looked and stared at it I thought it looked amazing, like an eagle spreading its wings! All I know is it sure put a big SMILE on my face today. We are all looking for hope, for a smile, something good. What are you smiling about today? I LOVED the sun as it rose above the hills hitting my face on my walk this morning. It was grand, humbling, soothing, feeling good to be outside. I am very grateful to be here walking and sharing my smile with you today. 😀

A flower a day and a honey bee!
A friend told me this is a potato vine. I Love the purple flowers!

I have been sharing a flower a day on social media. Just because it makes me smile, maybe it can bring a smile to others as well. I am putting them in a flower photo album which is the other reason I am sharing. This way they will all be in one place. I thought what a perfect time to share as it is Springtime now. I am trying to add a little hope and share this hope with others, this all shall pass, but it will be some time. I’m smiling at all the flowers which reminds me I need to get some flowers or am thinking of planting some veggies. I have my containers and maybe this year I will plant flowers instead! They will help fill my photo album and share my flower a day! Lol

Sunset last night, wish I had a better view for a photo. It was beautiful to look at in person
Such pretty kitties, what a life!

“Act as if what you do makes a difference. IT DOES.”

William James

I don’t often share quotes, Love this one! 😀

I wanted to share the kitties, they sure make us laugh with their antics and of course smile as they purr while we love on them. I think we all have a lot on our minds and if I can make you smile then maybe I’ve made a difference, so here is a cheer to smiling. The more you smile the better you feel. Find something to be grateful for today, it can be anything and am hoping you all are staying safe and are smiling. 😀 😀 😀

Smiling, Loving Life,

~Diana ❤

My Weekly Smile; March 25, 2020

I wasn’t sure what I was going to share this week for my weekly smile. And then my son was able to chat with me and I am so thankful for today’s technology. We video chatted and I was able to take some photos I want to share. I was so excited to chat with my grand daughter and see up close baby Teddy! I took a lot of photos, they are not the best but worth taking and I thought I would share. Today was so fun as it is amazing how it almost feels like you are there visiting, video chat is AMAZING! 😀

Baby Teddy was asleep and Mom picked him up and he just fell back to sleep in her arms!
Hi Alice! Grandma sure misses you, we had so much fun today!

My smile goes to this wonderful technology and to my beautiful family! I miss them so very much but this really brings us together. Baby Teddy will be one month old tomorrow! WHAT! Wait, it’s been a month already? I can’t believe it but he is doing great. I will share more photos. I was in grandma heaven today!!

We chatted for awhile, sharing and laughing together and then Teddy woke up!
I Love this photo of baby Teddy!

We had so much fun and we got to catch up with everything. We have been painting the inside of our house, so I could show them with the video chat. We also showed each other the kitties as we made the kitty exchange back in the beginning of the year. Now I have the two sisters which are doing great. They have the two brothers which are also good. I’ll share a photo of one brother and one sister. 😀

Wolfie asleep in Arizona and Duchess on the couch at my house.

My son showed me how they have rearranged some furniture in the downstairs and they also showed me the Chore Chart they have for Alice. This is so good for young children and she really likes doing her chores and earning rewards. My son was explaining this to me when Alice asked him if he could have grandma watch her do a chore! She is just so adorable, so I was able to watch her as she loaded up the washing machine. Yay! Good job, well done! ❤

Alice showing me how she is doing her chore for today! So cute!

I just had the greatest time and was elated we were able to spend so much time together. Yes, we have done this many times before but the last few weeks have felt like months. It felt like a long time ago the last time we chatted. I think its just the overall craziness of what we all are going through that makes each day seem even more precious and since I can’t travel which breaks my heart, this all makes up for that. It definitely fills me up with happiness. Was there anything that made you smile today? I hear of many good deeds happening these days, people stepping up and helping elders in grocery stores and other wonderful things.

One last photo, HAHA! It was truly a blast to see these kids!!

I really wanted to share and help bring a little smile to your day. Thank you for visiting my smile, and maybe this brought to you some cheer today! Take care of yourself and enjoy the rest of your week, the best you can. We are all doing our best!

Stay Safe, STAY STRONG!
