      1. I had horses for 40 years and I am now horseless. My last one died at the ripe old age of 32. His mother was actually a broodmare on the King Ranch at one time. Because of my complete ankle replacement I never replaced Zan

      2. I had to look up King Ranch and it’s the biggest ranch in the country in Texas. Is that the same one you are talking about with the broodmare? That’s so cool!! That’s a wonderfully long life Zan had and I totally understand not replacing your sweet horse because of your ankle surgery. Its definitely more challenging as we age to have and own a horse. I’m praying I can continue when I retire, or maybe I’ll always have some kind of a job in retirement to support my horsey addiction. ❤️🐴❤️
