Welcome to my last #treesquare challenge post as this month is coming to an end. For the month of July BeckyB has hosted her Tree Square challenge and we could post a tree a day, or as often as we wanted. I was only able to post weekly and really wanted to join in one last time. I found this first photo in my archive as you can see the leaves are turning so the photo was taken in the Fall. I was standing watching my horse Chloe through the leaves and thought what a great photo, and it works perfect for this challenge!
I was inspired on my trail ride today as the route I took has a lot of nice trees. I know this is a photo challenge of trees which when we post them we make sure they are square in shape. All my photos will be posted this way but as I traveled down the trail I thought of something to share and it will be a little surprise at the end of this post. My trail ride today was beautiful and fun! π
This is one of the widest trails I travel and there were a lot of riders out this morning. I was riding alone, it was just Chloe and I as we shared the trails with others. Some passed us, others went around the corner and out of view. I love the tree lined street we are walking down. I believe many of these trees are liquid ambers, I think. I am not real good at tree identification, but I try!
Heading down the trail this tree caught my eye so wispy and full! It almost looks like the wind is blowing but it isn’t at all. It could be because I am moving and I clicked the camera for the shot, I am not sure but I like the photo. I wasn’t sure if I got this photo so I took a second one and I am much closer to the tree. I thought it good enough to share!
Step, two, three, four and we are almost past the tree! I just took a chance and it came out pretty good. I am glad you could see the full tree with the first photo. I am not sure what kind of tree this is but when it blooms it has pretty yellow flowers! I like Chloe’s ears in both photos. One of the photos she has one ear back listening to me most likely. I may have said something, I can’t remember but I do talk to her when I need to as she responds to my voice. It may have been just a “what a good girl”. I Love Miss Chloe! She’s such a wonderful partner as she carries me down the trail.
Oh, this is about trees! Sorry, I can just go down a rabbit hole sometimes talking about the horses. I am so happy I am able to put together this last Tree Square post because I truly LOVE TREES!! Here is my surprise, I hope you enjoy and it isn’t a square photo, but I thought I could cheat and share this too.
I have so much fun making these video’s and I was so inspired because of this tree challenge. Wasn’t that pink blooming tree gorgeous? Oh my goodness, I could not believe all the flowers all over that tree! That was one HAPPY tree! I am really happy I was able to share my morning and my trail ride. Thank you for visiting and Thank you Becky for this wonderful challenge. It has been a blast joining in with these posts!

Thank you so much Becky! We have just over a hundred miles of dedicated riding trails in my town Norco. They consider themselves Horsetown USA! I couldn’t be living in a better place for my horse obsession and lifestyle! I’m so happy you enjoyed as it’s a joy to share!! A super FUN challenge!! β€οΈπ΄β€οΈ (I’m so happy I got that pink tree on video, AMAZING!)

Beautiful pictures and video, I love trees as well they make me happy and I love to look around me and see all the different color greens on the different trees. I love when you can smell the trees and their blooms so nice and refreshing. I love seeing Chloe’s ears move there is something about horse ears and eyes I love them. Enjoy your day I am off to the farm in a couple minutes β€

It’s funny. I think we sound a bit alike, too. That made it even more fun. I have one post about my one horseback ride. I was so sore. I cried all the way home, but I did manage to catch a few pics. I think you would enjoy my version of horseback riding, too. https://alwayswrite.blog/2012/10/31/horseback-in-hawaii/

Hi Marsha!
I totally loved your horse back riding in such a beautiful area. I actually have gone out on trail rides in locations before and the trail guides don’t want the horses to eat or the ride would take forever! Lol π Horses would graze all day if they could, they are meant to eat all the time so it can be a challenge to keep them going if you don’t know how to ride! And I can commiserate with the soreness… Haha, I’ll only get sore if I haven’t ridden in awhile. I ride nearly every day, so all my muscles are use to it and there are definitely different muscles you use to ride!! Thank you so much for sharing the link! β€οΈπ΄π

I’m glad you enjoyed it, I would love to love horseback riding, but it’s like jumping out of planes. There are some things that might not be worth the risk no matter how much fun they look. π

Thank you, Diana! I loved all the photos. Love that wispy tree! I wonder if I could grow one here. And the video was so much fun to watch. I had to play it twice. π

Aww, that’s the sweetest Annemarie! I’m so happy you enjoyed the video! So fun to make. I’m thinking that wispy tree is drought resistant and I’ve seen it growing in Arizona too. So it may like dry hot places. But you never know? And I’m not sure the species!? Thank you so much for visiting! β€οΈπ΄
